Hi lybrate-user here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term.

Cardio exercises at home is the best way to lose a ton of weight without even hitting the gym. It not only elevates the health but also improves mood and lowers depression level. It additionally helps you in performing better in the work. But people have this common misconception that cardio only means working with gym equipment but in reality there are some cardio exercises at home that is easy and doesn’t include any equipment.

Skip:

There are various kinds of skipping but cardio exercises that consist of skipping includes bringing one leg to the opposite arm and then doing the same with the other. But maintaining the skipping position.

Climbing stairs:

Quickly climbing the stairs up and down is another way to increase theheart rate. It is very beneficial and can be done anywhere.

Taking the knees high:

In this cardio exercise all you have to do is stand in a steady position with hips and legs apart from each other and bringing up one knee higher as possible and then again taking it down. Change the positions and continue the same.

Inching to the floor:

Try and lie down in the floor like in a push-up style but make sure you start from a standing position. Before going to the lie position try and touch the floor with your fingers like you would have done it while bending. Then come back by touching your feet.

Kick your butt:

This is one of the famous cardio exercises at home. Start by kicking your butt with your heels. Make sure your posture is straight and at the same time keep it light.

Jump:

Jumping is another form of cardio exercise. Just keep your legs together with your hands positioned on the side. Jump and keep your feet on the sides and raise your hands over your head. Before jumping again make sure your legs are together followed by your arms.

Lift up the heels:

For this exercise left up the heels about an inch from the ground and make sure the upper portion of your body is relaxed. You can move or shuffle the position as you like.

Climbing the mountain:

Just do it like you are climbing a mountain. Bring your one leg towards your chest and keep the other behind. Keep the hands on the floor positioned, follow the suit, change positions and repeat.

Plank style push-up:

Position your body like you would do to a plank and position the same in the ground. Bring your body up like you would do while doing a push-up.

Push-up like a diver:

Start from a stand and do a push-up like swooshing from front to up with chest down and face. Repeat the same. But while coming back make sure you bring your hips out and face down.

These were some of the cardio exercise at home. But it is important to do the same to notice results.

Hi, I have a problem of loosing weight quite often. Even if I miss my single day meal. I tend to start loosing weight that too muscle mass. Which resulted a very lean lower body. You r healthy with no medical illness. And if your body type is not genetic (like your parents), then you hv to increase your appetite (paachan shakti/agni) once your agni is increased with the help of ayurvedic medicine such as chitrakadi vati 2 - 2 - 2 then you can start eating high calorie nutritious diet including ghee butter paneer dry fruits carbohydrates etc eat you meals on regular times hv proper sleep. To lose weight, you have to maintain an input-output ratio. Whatever food you eat contains the input calories which gives you the output calories in the form of energy. If your input calories is too much, you are likely to put on weight. The best way to lose weight is to exercise or spend the additional calories accumulated in your body in the form of fat. The other most important thing is to eat wisely. Try to cut down the excessive calories you are eating and make sure whatever you eat is healthy. Some tips to lose weight - 1. Have more fruits and vegetables than junk food and juices. 2. Avoid sugar as much as you can 3. Exercise 3-4 times a week. 4. Have an early dinner, preferably before 8 p. M. 5. Do not starve yourself. Eat small meals 5 times a day. 6. Have barley soup in dinner and avoid rice at night. 7. Drink lots of water daily.

Hi, Please trust nature. Be proud of yourself the way God has made you. Be confident of yourself. Plastic surgeries can go horribly wrong and it won't give you confidence. Ask your closest friends what they like about you. Be proud of it. Face is not important, Your deeds are important. Heart is important. Live, love, laugh and play and be happy and forget about this face issue.

Hi Sanjay Excess fat deposit on tummy area is due to insulin and glucagon hormone imbalance. To lose tummy fat you should avoid starchy and sugary food exm. chapati, rice, bread, potato. U can use high protein diet exm. pannier, egg, chicken. Take lipolyzer tummy tablet after lunch and dinner.

Your BMI is 29.8.The best is to go on a NO cereal, No sugar, No fatty food diet and eat only fruits and vegetables. If you cant follow such a diet regularly you will soon need to undergo Bariatric surgery.

Hi, you should go for brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise. Go for running, skipping, cycling etc. To reduce tummy, lie down on flat surface raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times. Don't take rice at night and don't skip breakfast. Drink more water in a day. Avoid junk food and oily food. Take small and frequent meals. You can consult me privately online on lybrate for any advice.

How to lose fat from hips and thighs Dietary changes – •Check the oil that you are using. Vegetable-based and olive oils are good for you. Cut down on ghee, butter, cheese, paneer and margarine. •Limit your carb intake. Restrict yourself while eating potatoes, white rice, sago, pasta and other products made of refined flours. •Use only skimmed milk and skimmed milk curd. •Give up on all the fried foods until you get that shape. Nothing will come easily. Avoid fries, pakodas, samosa, fried momos, chips, and other fried snacks. •Increase your fibre intake. Eat whole cereals, oats, broken wheat / daliya, brown rice, brown breads, fruits with skin and a lot of green veggies. If possible mix bran into your flour. •If you are a non-vegetarian and enjoy fish, you will love this diet. Eat fish upto 4 times a week. Bake it, grill it but don’t fry it. You can have other lean meats up to 2 times in a week. And egg whites for breakfast are a good idea. •2 tsp of Triphala churn, along with ginger water is excellent way to help you liver to break down fats speedily and effectively. •Cut the intake of wheat. Extra carbs always end of on hips and thighs. Include other cereals like jowar, bajra, and mix these flours with horse gram flour and soya flour. •Go very light with your dinners. A plate full of salad made out of veggies, sprouts, fruits along with soups will help. Fill in with a very small portion of brown rice or daliya. In short have a fiber and protein rich dinner and go low on carbs. Eat dinner around 7.30 pm and having a small walk after it will only add up to your goal. •Consume as much of water as you can and eat different varieties of melons for better results. How to lose fat from hips and thighs through exercise •Walking is the best exercise for your hips and thighs. Walking up to 4 km per day will make your goal appear closer and closer. •If I ask you, “how to lose fat from hips and thighs”? You would probably answer cross trainer or the cycle at gym. Frankly you are not helping yourself if you are doing these to lose fat from hips and thighs. These exercises will only help you in tightening your muscles and then bulking them up. •If you have been walking already, but don’t see much result, then you might need to increase the distance by a km and the intensity of walks from the 30thminute onwards. Also check your diet to ensure you are following the tips above. •Lunges and squats will help you too. Remember to check your posture while you do these exercises. Wrong posture can cause pain. •Running and jogging, hiking and trekking will help you too. Now that you know how to lose fat from hips and thighs all you need to do is tailor the above given tips to suit your plan. You could slowly increase your exercise

Hi firstly, start doing surya namaskar in morning and start eating triphla chooran (natural medicine) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. Start a fruit dieting every alternative day, means you have to eat fruits every alternative days & normal fruit every other alternative days. Avoid late night dinners and try to eat nothing after sunset. Sit in vajrasana after every meal you eat for 10 minutes. Walk atleast 30 min in morning.
