Do regular exercise like swimming, skipping, yoga etc. Avoid sugar, sweetened juice etc. Avoid fast foods, junk foods etc. Use unrefined foods. Extra fish, lean meat etc will help to reduce extra body fat. Drink plenty of water specially before meals.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Read the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals.When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. Hello lybrate-user, weight loss is the result of a holistic approach that includes- 1. Balanced diet rich in proteins and fibre like- egg, chicken, fish, milk, curd, paneer, sprouts, oats, wholegrain cereals and pulses, fruits and vegetables (fibre) 2. Exercise- doing 40-50 minutes of moderate to high intensity activity for 4-5 days/ week will help (walking/jogging/swimming etc. Also being active by getting up from your chair within 1/2 hour, using staircase, parking your vehicle far from your office so that you walk are ways to improve calorie burning 3. Adding good quality fat like nuts and oilseeds-almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds (alsi) will help. 4. Rest for 7-8 hours to rejuvenate your system so it can work efficiently. 5. Water- having about 1 glass water every hour will help in flushing toxins from your system.

The best natural remedy to cure thyroid is coriander leaves, what you have to do you have to take 20 to 30 grams of coriander and boil in 200 ml water after boiling for 7 to 8 minutes you can drink this coriander herbal tea, you have to drink this herbal tea in morning empty stomach regularly for 3 months, along with this start doing kapal bharti and alom vilom regularly without any fail, make a habit of walking 60 minutes in a day, you have to avoid refined oil in your cooking and use mustard oil cow ghee or any other pure oil, drink 3 to 4 litres water everyday but make sure your not drinking water right after your meals give a gap of 90 minutes.

At first you have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. 1) take food two times in a day only 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals 3) avoid late night sleeping habits 4) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast and fermented foods. A) take half tsf of avipattikar churna and half tsf of lavanbhaaskar churna after meals. B) apply paste of tankan, lemon juice and honey on cracked heels. C) take 30 ml of aloe vera juice along with 30 ml of trifala juice and 30 ml of lukewarm water at night before sleep. Do all these things for thirty days and reply me for further suggestions. Thanks.

My body is not loosing weight. what should i do to loose my weight? please advice
it is an ongoing process of reducing food intake and exercising to burn the calories you consume. There are exercises specific for each part of body like cheek, hips, thighs or abdomen/ buttocks, or chest. Comprehensive exercise& diet plan based on whether vegetarian /non vegetarian can be given. May also need to do some test as hypothyroidism also can cause weight gains. By cutting 500 calories a day (a total of 3500 per week), and otherwise eating a balanced diet, you may find you lose approximately a pound a week. This rate of weight loss is considered reasonable and healthy. In brief, weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/2 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. And do aerobic exercises, running, jogging or at least walking briskly 3-5 kms and swimming if possible, and in a gym if feasible.

Dear Lybrate user. 1) do yogasan regularly (pacchimottasan, Vajrasana, sarvangasan, pavanmuktasan, bhujangasan) upto 15-30 minutes. 2) walk upto 4-5 kilometers daily. 3) do exercises like running, jogging, swimming, aerobics, cycling. 4) do anuloma – viloma pranayaam daily upto 10-15 minutes…Do all these things for 30 days. Hello. Firstly you should get your x-ray done for the sake of precautions. You are having a fractured leg so you must be on bed rest for about 2-3 months or maybe more. And it is usually said that longer bed rest changes your circadian rhythm. Various hormones and enzymes are released in a 24 hour schedule. Since your leg was bandaged so there must be lack of vitamins and calcium. If you feel that your bones are getting weaker then you can 1 gm of wet lime stone (chuna. Along with 100 gm of curd, juice or water. You will feel all the deficiencies will vanish. Please do not use it if you have a problem of kidney stone or other such problems. To gain weight it's very important to balance with your intake with the expenditure. As you are doing 6 -7 kms daily so it might be posiible that you are burning more calories per day than you are consuming. Reduce the walk upto 2 kms and increase you intake by including high calorie food in your diet such as milk & milk products, soy, nuts in your diet.

First thing check thyroid.its important for you.. *In the morning drink 1 cup of warm water with lemon *Drink lots of water throughout the day and with all meals *Drink lots of green Tea *Never ever eat sugar *Eat whole foods *Eat all the vegetables you want *Eat 5 small meals a day (This includes snacks) *Do not eat anything after 7PM *Eat fruits maximum *Do � hour to 45 minutes of cardio, preferably walking ) *Eat the good fat (olive oil, *Get 8 hours sleep *Minimize stress *Eat low fat dairy products such as plain yogurt, cottage cheese, skim milk. You should go for 45 minutes brisk walk in the morning. Do exercise atleast 15 minutes, you take lukewarm water with half spoon methidana powder in the morning. Consumption of plenty of water be ensured. Take salad before meals. Don't take oily food, don't use table salt. Take sprouts. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals. Increase the quantity of fruits and vegetables and low calorie foods. Avoid intake of too much salt as it may be a factor for increasing body weight. Milk products like cheese, butter etc. And non-vegetarian foods should be avoided as they are rich in fat. Mint is very beneficial in losing weight. A chutney of green mint with some simple spices can be taken with meals. Mint tea also helps. Spices like dry ginger, cinnamon, black pepper etc. Are good for loosing weight and can be used in a number of ways. Regular intake of carrot juice. Avoid rice and potato, which contain a lot of carbohydrates. Among cereals wheat is good. Vegetables like bitter gourd (karela), and bitter variety of drumstick are useful in loosing weight. Honey is an excellent home remedy for obesity. It mobilizes the extra deposited fat in the body allowing it to be utilized as energy for normal functions.

Hi lybrate-user how much weight you want to lose in weight. Ideally one shouldn't be losing more 5% of current body weight in one month. You are not about 6-8 kg over weight. You can easily get in right weight in 6-8 weeks. Avoid heavy food, include salad & fruits in daily diet, exercise for 30-40 min, sleep for 6-7 hours daily, avoid stress.
