dextromethorphan is not recommended for children, rather use Benadryl
avoid all cold and sour foods, if the child is breast fed, the mother as well is supposed to avoid all cold and sour foods

if your kid is 5 years old then you can go with 3.5 ml of ambrolite d plus thrice a day

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Usually if a liquid is labled as "syrup" it does contain sugar. So when one prescribes it to a diabetes patient you have to look at the quantity(mentioned on the lable. Or ask for a sugar free version of the same product which mostly companies have. Thanks.

You can. The point is why would you want to give medicine for cold. Cold is a viral infection which will go away on it’s own. Allow your child’s immunity to fight it. It will improve her resistance to such common infections. Use medication only if she is in genuine discomfort or developed a fever.

Dextromethorphan should be avoided in small children.
Only give syp flucold 2.5 ml three times a day.

Give Syp Septilin 2.5 ml twice
instead of chericof and calpol, give Mextra P 2.5 ml thrice, Syp Domstal 2.5 ml thrice
