I am suffering hsv2 igg 4.32 positive from sept 2019 I have 2 outbreak till now and taking medicine acyclovir 200 mg thrice in a day as well as fluconazole prescribed by my gynaecologist. I am planning for a marriage next year in april I just want to know if I don't have any outbreaks can I go with unprotected sex so that my partner not affected by me. Or is there any cure in ayurveda how many times it will take.

Two or three times I had ulcer in my penis. I have burning sensation. My other test vdrl, sugar,complete urine test, HIV 1&2, all are negative. I get very angry. And I lead normal life. Will it cause any problem to my sexual life. And once again, I have done two hsv tests, my first test was negative but I did test hsv1 is only positive. I am confused. Right now, I am acyclovir 400 mg take last 10 days. Please give me some suggestions.

Yes it will cause infection to your partners..

I am 20 years old female and I suffered from herpes labialis. I was infected since I was only 9 or 10 years old. At first, there were only some blisters at the corner of my month. After a week, my lips started to swell and I applied topical acyclovir cream on that corner. The blisters now already disappeared and only some redness left behind, however, my lips kept swollen. I wondered whether it is cheilitis induced by hsv-1. But my cold sore was nearly healed why my lips still being swollen? What should I do?

Hi, it takes time for recovery after herpes infections. You may take symptomatic treatment while the swelling subsides.

My Cholesterol and LDL values are going up very fast. I have been on low carbohydrate diet for the period 1 Nov to end Dec 16 and lost 8 kgs of weight. The Cholesterol went up from 220 on Nov 1 to 257 by mid Dec 16. I got Herpes zoster in second half of Dec 2016 and the Cholesterol level has gone upto 290 and Non HDL about 250 with LDL about 200. Question: 1. Does the low carbohydrate diet increase cholesterol levels. I read somewhere that when teh weight loss happens and fat gets depleted the cholesterol and other lipids enter the blood stream and the ststisn do not help in this case? 2. Does the Herpes zoster and the anti viral medicine taken increase cholesterol? 3. How do we check the profile/ size distribution of LDL? 4. What should I do to reduce the Cholesterol - diet, medicines, exercise.

I am patient of mystenia gravis ,deases has been diagnosed in 2006 oct. since then I have been five times in crises, once I got plasma and rest of the times IVIG, it is ot fully cured, last ivig i took in dec,2012 ,i am on 10 mg prednisolon and 2000 mg cellcept, 4/5 tab mestinon 60 mg. along with this lot of other problems cropped, like sugar,hypertension,sleep apenea,vertigo,psvt, i also suffered with sever harpes zoster in 2007 ,burning and pain is still survived, need advice

I was diagnosed with genital herpes in Nov last year and ever since I had 3 recurring episodes in the interval of four months. Twice in between the Genital herpes episodes, I was also diagnosed balanitis Candida and was given fluconazole tab for 4 weeks for it. HIV and HCV test were negative. For Herpes doctor gave me acyclovir for 5 days whenever it happened. My question is - 1.Do I need to undergo suppressive therapy by way of taking acyclovir daily and for how long? 2. Will I catch any other disease/STD or medical issue because of Genital herpes even I don't have sex until I get married and practice safe sex? 3. Does Genital Herpes suppresses my immunity and I tend to fall sick easily in my life? 4.Do I need to have any vaccination to protect myself from other STDs and HIV, if yes, then which vaccination?

Hello sir my husband had chicken pox last month n treated with acyclovir. Sday he went for medical examination to get fitness to sail. He is actually a marine engineer. He got vdrl reactive in the test. V both had not symptoms of syphilis. His 2017 vdrl was non reactive n my vdrl of 2016 during my pregnancy is too non reactive. My doubt is will it be false positive for chicken pox antibodies. please help.

I am having blisters on my back area near my spine, it gives me a lot of pain and burning sensation. I have consulted a skin specialist who diagnosed it as Herpes Zoster. I have been prescribed Valcet 1000 mg thrice a day for 5 days. Emanzen D twice a day for 5 days. Fusiate cream to be applied on blisters twice a day for 5 days. Kivical lotion once every day at night. He did not do any tests for the same. Just manually verification and all these medicines were prescribed. For the last 3 days I have taken these medicines but not any great results yet. Are there any tests which needs to be done for the same to confirm the disease?

Herpes zoster. And be diagnosed by looking at the lesions. Pls complete your course of medication and then consult your doctor for follow up. It usually takes 1-2 weeks for it to heal.
