U will have to undergo sputum examination to see if there is any infection there and treatment as per the report will b useful. If even after treatment, you continue to have cough. The a ct scan of the chest is useful as x ray do not pick up all the findings.

These are of no benefit other than changing the taste. Give whatever you eat in a form which he can eat easily. Vegetables, pulses, rice, egg etc. Soups good. Juices do not benefit much. Reduce milk.
