Whether your ACE inhibitor was started for hypertension or microalbuminuria? If your systolicis 142 with lisinopril then it is ok. You can continue.

It is good to see that both BP and blood glucose are fairly well controlled. Increase in microalbuminuria and creatinine suggests that kidney are getting affected mostly due to diabetes.
One of the group of drugs recommended for hypertension with diabetes is ACE-Inhibitors like Lisinopril, Enalepri or ARBs like Losartan, Telmisartan or Olmesartan etc. Thanks.

Dry cough per say has no relationship with diabetes. It is usually associated with either throat irritation, infection or problems related to lungs Please tell me is she on any drug for high BP like Ramipril or Lisinopril? Because these drugs (ACE - I) can produce dry cough as a side effect.
In your information there is absolutely no information on blood glucose control - like Fasting, PP glucose levels, & HbA1c%, so no way to comment on that aspect. T...more

Cyclophosphamde and acei lisinopril are effective drugs for progressive iga nephropathy. There are possible side effects of every medicines but these are necessary drugs to save your kidneys. Dytor plus contains spironolactone which if taken with few blood pressure tablets like ace inhibitors (ramipril, lisinopril) or arb (telmisartan, olmesartan), serum potassium may increase.
