Thanks for the query.
Tablet mentioned is the combination of Pragabalin with a pain killer. It is basically given to control pain, burning sensation and other symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. Only pragabalin can be taken for a long time. But taking Aceclofenac is not safe. Plus pragabalin is a nerve pain reliever, not a nerve tonic. It essential to have a strict blood glucose control with fasting glucose < 100 mg, PP 160 to 180 mg HbA1c% <7. That helps in reducing neuropathy. Thanks.

Hello,
each medicine though has a dose and is to be used accordingly, its not fair neither correct to discuss the use of medicines without knowing the disease and the aim of prescribing medicines it will be best for you if you consult the doctor who has prescribed the medication. Else the second best option will be to reconsult a doctor with complete details. Thats the best option for you.

you are very right about normal range of tsh levels. At 8.5 milli units/ml, with normal t4, the condition is classified as sub- clinical hypothyroidism. This normally is not treated with any drugs. Treatment is advised only once the levels cross 10 milli units or there are troublesome symptoms with lower tsh levels. As regards food intake you have to have a balanced diet, but avoid certain foods like - soy beans, soy containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, peanuts, radish, mustard a...more

Hello. Lybrate user. The medications will give only temporary relief. I advice you to take an xray and follow up with the treatment plan regarding the pain with restoration or root canal treatment. Yes you can take pain killers like paracetamol. They are mild. But pain killers has to be avoided for 1 week atleast after vaccination. Consult a general physician about this. Thank you.
