Dear Labrate user, you are suffering from productive cough and taking cough syrup given by the chemist. Firstly if this cough is of short duration 3-4 day and not associated with fever and other symptom then it's ok. Otherwise you need thorough checkup.

Refrain from scratching the bite or sting area because this may cause the skin to break down and an infection to form. Intermittent cold packs or ice may reduce swelling. You may treat itching at the site of the bite with an over-the-counter antihistamine such as diphenhydramine (Benadryl) in cream or pill form

Don't give ascoril for common cold. It contains terbutaline, and will increase herat rate. Use only simple cough remedies like benadryl cough formula, which contains only diphenhydramine and ammoniumchloride.

Do not douche or use powders or sprays on your vulvar area. Try not to scratch. Use a cold pack or a cool bath to treat itching. For severe itching, try an oral antihistamine, such as a non-drowsy one like loratadine (Claritin) one that might make you sleepy, like diphenhydramine (Benadryl).
