Hello Lybrate user. As you told that you r different from anxiety and you were on paroxetene 25 mg ans clonazepam 0.25 in whole day. It is basic treatment of anxiety which I also give to my patients. As you have told that you felt stiffness in body as went to the treating doctor again, why he decreased the dose is best known to him only. One most lrobably answer is that he sense the side effect is due to paroxetene and wanted to check weather de dressing the dose will help you get rid of stiffne...more

Dear Sunil,
It may not be a withdrawal of melzap after just 5 days. Did you have this kind of restless feeling before taking melzap? If so, you need to consult your doctor again to diagnose and treat your anxiety issues. It might be due to drug side effect, your medical issues and also psycho-social issues. Let it be diagnosed properly.

I'm seeing a psychiatrist right now. He said that the treatment for my generalized anxiety is 1 year. I take Paroxetine (Xet 20 mg) once daily and Rivotril (Clonazepam) 1/8 at night. He decrease the dose of my rivotril, because I take it 1/4 at night to 1/8, he said that in my next appointment, he will not prescribed rivotril anymore. My concerned is that I know it will take quiet sometime to recover, but I have worries everyday, like I don't want to hear loud noises and bang on the door (Im in my auntie's house right now and they don't know my issues, especially my grandma, I don't want her to worry) I feel like, is it for me? Are they angry? But I can brush it off in my head. Just a little beat of breathing or listening to music. But my worries so far is that if I will take the board exam this March 2019? I feel like my mind is not yet ready, but I don't want to disappoint my grandma & parents, they know that I will take the pharmacy board examination this March but as of the moment, I don't want too. Right now, I don't read books and didn't start to review :(I need advice. Thank you.

The treatment you taking is adequate. You should tell your family about your problem. That will help you cope up with the situation in a better way. Also along with the meds I would Want you to start doing some regular exercise or meditation in any form. Bring home a colouring book and whenever you feel like an anxiety attack take that out and start colouring. Practice deep breathing and relaxation. Talk to someone venting out your feelings and emotions will help you deal with them in a better w...more

Dear lybrate-user,
the change in medicine often makes you uncomfortable for short duration. Gradually anxiety goes away afer 3-4 days. You can wait for few days till you feel better. Doctor might have changed medicine considering some points of your symptoms. I would not be able to solve your problem until I know all your problem in detail. If you have intolerable problem you can either consult me or other psychiatrist.
Else you can talk to your own psychiatrist for such complaints.

As per your weight in my opinion your zaptra dose needs to be optimised, kindly call your treating doctor for further advice.
And zapiz is unlikely to make you feel sad. Your baseline problem of anxiety once corrected with proper drug dosages you will feel better. Do not loose your heart you will be fine.
