U need to take home cooked fresh n light food. Drink boiled water. Do the following 1. Lose weight (if you r obese). Obesity is the leading cause of GERD/ Acidity. Don't Overeat

If you have given the tablets then complete the course (read about caution about antibiotics: abuse of antibiotics and it's emerging problems from the internet ). If he feels sick then go to a doctor ASAP. Give him light food (home made food) and maintain good hydration.

take salads and fruits more before lunch and dinner regularly
take milk plus turmeric powder three times a day regularly

Bifilac sachet two at a time in mouth take it with water till stool subside. It's lactobacillus found in curd no harm safe no side effects.
2-2-2-3 can be taken till stool subside.
Oz two times a day after food for five days. Its enough. No need of rifaximin.

Stop the antibiotic. You may be allergic to some component. Take simple ors and go for a diet change with soft /liquid diet till loose motions resolve. All cases of loose motions do not require antibiotics. If there is any fever, or loose motions persist or increase, onlt then you will need antibiotics.
