Hi!
levocetrizine is one of the routinely prescribed anti histamines to control itching. Usually, we have not seen any patient complained of itching due to levocetrizine. If you are complaining of itching with levocetrizine, it means that ,the tablet is not able to control symptoms and higher strength of medication needed to tackle the condition.

Overdose may lead to drowsiness, so don't feed the child while asleep. If he is not waking up for a very long period, better to take him to a hospital for observation.

If it is an allergic rash than cetrizine should work and I will suggest you to buy a strip of tablet cetcip and just give half tablet for now after crushing it and mixing it with water and if rashes doesn’t reduce within six hours than we should go steroid therapy along with a blood test.
