Nasivion are just unbearable for small kids. They generally react instantly. But if your child is not reacting to it, just don't worry and switch nasal spray. Also most important is do not use nasal spray if baby is not very serious cold. Use hot water nass, pure and no side effect, also very effective.

This happens due to severe dryness. The dried mucus of the nose causes itching. Apply a very small quantity of light moisturizing cream/lotion in the lower part of inside of nose every day, morning evening. Also after a bath blow out all the sticky mucus from the nostrils and wipe the nostrils with a soft tissue. Reapply moisturizer after the bath.
Otrivin is not recommended. If the problem is severe, take steam inhalation for 5 min and blow out the mucus gently. Aplly moisturizer.

Total fats to be taken in one day should be about 5 teaspoons. These can be distributed as 2 Mufa oils, 2 Pufa oils, 1 SFA oils. Mufa are like Olive/Groundnut oil, Pufa is like Saffola/Rice bran and SFA Saturated Fatty Acids, like Ghee, butter etc. You can vary the proportions a bit. So you can take one or two spoons of Ghee for adults or kids. Daily diet portions are also dictated by height, weight, age and activity level.
