This appears like Ear drum perforation as a result of cold and middle ear infection. Ear must be kept dry with no liquid entry of any type. Wipe outside with cotton buds. You require aggressive treatment of nose congestion, cold and chronic infection. Once dry Ear drum reconstruction surgery may be considered. See ENT Specialist for the management.

Hi lybrate-user. I hope you have used xylomist in your nose. You might be also having a nasal discharge which might have accidently entered into your ear and causes ear block problem. Usually happen when patient with nasal discharge sniffs in the discharge, it then goes into the ear through a tube connecting nose and ear.
