It is not possible that sickle cell is transferred by sexual activity. With sickle cell disease, an inherited group of disorders, red blood cells contort into a sickle shape. The cells die early, leaving a shortage of healthy red blood cells (sickle cell anemia), and can block blood flow causing pain (sickle cell crisis).
Infections, pain, and fatigue are symptoms of sickle cell disease.
Treatments include medications, blood transfusions, and rarely a bone-marrow transplant.

Dear Lybrate user, if you are planning to have a frozen embryo transfer, your ivf specialist will advice you a certain drugs for preparing the endometrium (inner uterine lining) which will act as niche for embryo. Usually, aspirin and argipreg are given even before the embryo transfer for better results.

1. Pleomorphic adenoma is benign salivary tumour.
2. Its chances of conversion to malignancy depends on age (more in 8 th/ 9 th decades of life). Common in females. 3. As such the conversion is low 0.17/ 1 million cases. Higher age higher incidence.
