Diclofenac is a prescribed for pain, along with this you may require antibiotic also some times, if dentist has said it is healing, as a home remedy you can rinse with a warm salt water 3-4 times daily, if pain comes down then it's fine ,if pain worsens then antibiotic is necessary.
