Hello sir. The pep is highly effective in preventing hiv infection if taken as directed by the physician.
Please get your self tested 4 wks after completion of pep and then at 90 days after stopping pep with 4th gen combo test. No other test is needed for hiv screening. However you need to rule out other stis. Thanks.

Hello sir. Good to know that your hiv is under control. You will need to continue to take art as long as you live, as of now. In future if any cure is found that will be a game changer. There are better options than viraday now. As long as your vl is undetectable and cd4 is in the normal range the ois remain under check and also non oi conditions. However aids has 4 stages depending upon s/s. It will be better if you consult an hiv Dr. of your choice to know more details, please. Thanks.

Post-exposure prophylaxis (pep) is a medication that can be taken after a potential exposure to hiv to reduce the risk of infection. The medication is most effective when taken as soon as possible after the exposure, ideally within 72 hours.
The medication you mentioned, "traffic" is a combination of two drugs, tenofovir and emtricitabine, which are commonly used for pep. These medications are generally well-tolerated and can be effective in preventing hiv transmission when taken correctly.

If the virus persists after 6 months it is known as chronic hepatitis b. 30-90% of patient suffering from chronic hepatitis b subsequently develop cirrhosis of liver/carcinoma of liver if not t...more

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Antibody tests can usually detect hiv 23 to 90 days after exposure. Most rapid tests and self-tests are antibody tests. A rapid antigen/antibody test done with blood from a finger stick can usually detect hiv 18 to 90 days after exposure.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a treatment plan for you.
