There is no comlete cure for diabetes. Your blood sugar is still very high and you need readjustment of your medicines.

Since it is giving good support, you need to discuss with the doctor who can help you understand the importance of good sugar control. The medicines (or the dosages) can be reduced or stopped only after a detailed review (continuous monitoring) by the doctor. Ideally, one should not stop the medicines suddenly. Other aspects of daily routine like diet and exercise etc should also be taken into consideration along with reports to implement changes (if there is good improvment) over time.

Lantus insulin is long acting insulin. If patients fasting/PP Sugars are not under control and and Hba1c is persistently above 8 % then some times it is advisable to go for premix insulin like humalog + NPH insulin for better glycemic control and maybe twice in a day injections. If you have recent post heart bypass surgery then it is very important to maintain Hba1c below 7%.

Hellom Thanks for the query.
As you have seen both the products have same ingredient only prices are different. There are many other brands like K- VOG 0.3 mg and others more economical. There is no difference in the product results, it is just company's decision to charge more. You can take any one that you feel is fine for you. Thanks.

Your blood sugars are within normal range, take timely food intake, avoid oily, fatty items. This is sufficient, wait for few days, automatically you will be normal.

Mr Shivashankar, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details, overall glucose levels & HbA1c% are fine. However, ideally in well controlled diabetic person fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg. SInce your age is 72 years the control is quite good. There is no need to worry. Please continue the same lifestyle and treatment. Thanks.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have sen the given information, from which it is clear that current medication is not helping in controlling blood glucose effectively. There is a need to upgrade the treatment, plus we will have to look closely to the diet, extent of daily exercises, weight and height details. Then only a proper treatment plan can be finalsed.
