Mr Vijay, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Please tell me what is your question? The drugs prescribed are for treating diabetes.
There is absolutely no information on blood glucose levels(fasting & PP), HbA1c%, weight, height, age, diet pattern, extent of daily exercise, BP readings& lipid profile. So there is no way to comment any thing. Thanks.

There is no comlete cure for diabetes. Your blood sugar is still very high and you need readjustment of your medicines.

Since it is giving good support, you need to discuss with the doctor who can help you understand the importance of good sugar control. The medicines (or the dosages) can be reduced or stopped only after a detailed review (continuous monitoring) by the doctor. Ideally, one should not stop the medicines suddenly. Other aspects of daily routine like diet and exercise etc should also be taken into consideration along with reports to implement changes (if there is good improvment) over time.

Lantus insulin is long acting insulin. If patients fasting/PP Sugars are not under control and and Hba1c is persistently above 8 % then some times it is advisable to go for premix insulin like humalog + NPH insulin for better glycemic control and maybe twice in a day injections. If you have recent post heart bypass surgery then it is very important to maintain Hba1c below 7%.
