Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. However, there is nothing mentioned about fasting, PP glucose levels and HbA1c%. So I am not aware about how well is your diabetes controlled. I am sure you are in a well controlled patient fasting glucose should be <100 mg or closer to `100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% at your age < 7%. As regards some mixture which you are mentioning I have no idea. If you feel it is good then you may take it. Thanks.

Looks like that this is the first time diabetes is diagnosed. First thing apart from medication is that she should control her diet and do some physical activity. She has to reduce weight as part of diabetic management. Insulin will give quicker response but oral medicines will take time. Wait for a week ,check the sugar again and consult doctor to adjust the dose.

Two things are very important in diabetes control and they are diet and exercise. Patient should avoid sugar jaggery honey sweets sweet fruits like mangoe grapes banana cheekoo etc. Diet should be small, frequent eals and easily digestable. Exercise, walking and yoga are equally important. If you are overweight reduce it .Then comes role of mediines. In my openion pt. Should follow one system of medicine under the guidane of a qualified doctor.

Hi lybrate-user, I understand your concern. If your post meal sugars are not getting controlled since a year. There are two options.
One is - there are few good medicines which have come recently which might help you to reduce your pp sugar. But you should consult your local endocrinologist who will evaluate if they are suitable for you or not.
Second - as you are already on lantus. You can start insulin to help control pp sugars also, which will reduce the no. Of tablets that you need t...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I get a feeling that I have answered this query yesterday. Both fasting and PP glucose levels are high. There is a need to upgrade the overall treatment.
Following are my observations : 1) Weight is too high with a BMI of 34.04 kgs she is close to grade 2 obesity. This is a major hindrance for better glucose control.
2) There is a need to look at the dietary pattern, extent of daily physical activity and lipid profile details, serum creatinine and urea...more

•there are exercises a man can carry out to reduce the effects of ed.
The best way to treat erectile dysfunction without medication is by strengthening the pelvic floor muscles with kegel exercises. These are often associated with women looking to strengthen their pelvic area during pregnancy, but they can be effective for men looking to regain full function of the penis.

Medicine suggested to you are appropriate to your present clinical status.
There is no medicine which is specialy used for creatinine. Increased creatinine is an indicator of reduced lidney function. Aim ehould be to avoid nephrotoxic drugs and keep blood sugar controlled.
Discuss everything with your doctor who is taking care very well.
