There are some side effects of all anti diabetic drugs.
But you need them to control sugar levels as high blood sugar level is more dangerous.

Madam, it appears he has uncontrolled diabetes (hba1c 11.3%). Volix is voglibose a drug given to slow down glucose absorption following a meal. It helps in reducing after food rise blood glucose level. However, his treatment for diabetes is not adequate, needs to be changed. In good controlled diabetes hba1c level is around 6.5%

Mr. lybrate-user Rao, Thanks for the query.
Voglibose is supposed to be taken with food or just after food. Its action is to delay the absorption of glucose by delaying conversion of disaccharides like sucrose to glucose. Ideally to be taken with food or just after. Thanks.

Hellom Thanks for the query.
As you have seen both the products have same ingredient only prices are different. There are many other brands like K- VOG 0.3 mg and others more economical. There is no difference in the product results, it is just company's decision to charge more. You can take any one that you feel is fine for you. Thanks.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
There is no mention about blood glucose levels and HbA1c%, which are more important to know how the control is.
Your thyroid levels are normal there is no need for any treatment. Thanks.

Yes metformin and voglibose be taken at a same time. Both are the diabetic medications, and Voglibose prevents absorption of sugar from foods whereas the metformin controls insulin effects
