Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. You have mentioned FBG & PP glucose levels. Fasting is quite high. PP is comparatively better. However, there are no other important details like weight, height, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, serum creatinine, urea, lipid profile & BP readings. Unless all the details are given there is no way to give any suggestions. So if you want proper advice, please come back with all the details in a private conversation, where I c...more

Mr. Lybrate-user, your reported blood sugar levels look good, but it is essential to see the hba1c% also, to observe long term control. Weakness and tiredness are usually seen when sugar control is not good. Regular exercise and proper diet are equally important to overcome all such symptoms. You may get a test done to check b12 and vitamin d3 level in blood.

There are some side effects of all anti diabetic drugs.
But you need them to control sugar levels as high blood sugar level is more dangerous.

Better consult an Endocronologist and get your tablets adjusted.
It is very important that on which time you take tablets...
And my suggestion is to take homoeopatic treatment.. It can reduce the use allopathic treatment as well as reduce the side effects of the diabetes.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. As your HbA1c% is 7.4 and both glucose levels seem to be fairly good, instead of adding one more molecule like Voglibose, you may look at your diet and exercise level. That should help in achieving better control. If you are looking for any additional treatment then please come in a private conversation with details like current fasting, PP glucose level, diet pattern, extent of daily exercise weight and height, then I will be able to give specific advice....more
