Your reports are normal & within the range. Sometimes slight variations do occur between fasting/ post prandial readings dur to technical reasons or blood taken a bit later than 2 hours. Good to know that you have brought levels of choleasterol to normal but this is not be all. Do get total lipid profile & take less sugar and sweets as sugar in fruits give us enough to sustain.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Both FBG & PP are with in normal range. But HbA1c% is showing the diabetic value.
Following are the values for diagnosis :
1)Normal : FBG 70 to 100 mg, PP < 140 mg, HbA1c% < 5.7%.
2)Pre-diabetic : FBG 101 to 125 mg, PP 141 to 199 mg & HbA1c% 5.7% to 6.4%
3)Diabetes : FBG 126 mg and above, PP 200 mg and above & HbA1c% 6.5% and above.

Two things are very important in diabetes control and they are diet and exercise. Patient should avoid sugar jaggery honey sweets sweet fruits like mangoe grapes banana cheekoo etc. Diet should be small, frequent eals and easily digestable. Exercise,walking and yoga are equally important. If you are overweight reduce it .Then comes role of mediines.In my openion pt. Should follow one system of medicine under the guidane of a qualified doctor.
