Mr. Lybrate-user kumar, the present treatment looks quite good. Fasting and pp levels are a bit high, but those can be managed by following a more strict diet and exercise schedule. I feel there is no further need to add any drugs. Her bmi is 27.55 kg/ m2, which shows she is overweight. Her ideal body weight should be 59 kgs. So all her food intake (calories) should be calculated considering that weight and extent of daily physical exercise and blood sugar levels. Even if she reduces 5 to 7 kgs,...more

Pooja ji, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given. In fact you are on quite a lot of drugs, still the control is eluding, is a bit of surprise. Hi,
after the recent change in medicine, your sugar levels are much better
keep a closer watch on your fasting sugars repeat your sugars (both fasting and 2 hours post breakfast) after a week, if fasting more than 140, then your night dose is to be adjusted
check your sugars on 27/4/29 and get a consultation.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Your PP glucose is a bit high, ideally it should be around 160 to 170 mg. That can be achieved by altering the dietary pattern, by increasing the intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and few fruits. Plus increasing the intensity of physical activity or duration of it. Thanks.

Mr. lybrate-user, Please understand for diabetes only treatment option available is in modern medicine, either oral anti-diabetes tablets and/or Insulin injections. So please shift back to appropriate drugs as earlier. However, it is essential to look at what dosage of the tablets or Insulin has to be given. Plus please check HbA1c% and come back in a private conversation, where I will be able to guide specifically. As in this communication I am supposed to give only general guidelines. Thanks.
