Sir/madam I am diabetic for 3 years having voglibose0. 3m+mf500 mg twice daily and olmezest 40 mg for bp once daily, aspirin10 mg+rosuvastatin75 mg for cholesterol once daily my hba1c is 6.5 last month ,4 days before done my semen analysis report which was not good for fertility 30 million density total motility was 50% in which fast progressive is 0% slow progressive 30% non progressive 20% non motile 50% derbis is also present and morphology is also less normal form 2% head defected 38% mid piece defected 24% tail defects 33% immature cell 3% Dr. prescribed letrozole kindly suggest me I am taking lyco q 100 once daily can I take it twice in a day or suggest me any good medicine for semen motility and morphology and density I will bebgrate ful to all of you since we have conceive this month.

Firstly you need a good blood sugar control
secondly screen for infections. A simple urine r/e, culture will be sufficient
thirdly, get checked up clinically for any local cause e.g. Varicocoele, hydrocoele etc
fourthly, if any addiction stop

You feel that all problems started because you have stopped gutka. If it is so you will get better gradually do not give too much importance to gutka and never restart it again. Please consult a physician and discuss all your problems mentioned above. He will suggest you properly after your clinical evaluation.

Continue same dose for 2 weeks and then repeat fasting and pp blood sugar and inform.

Hi just to update recently I updated my fasting sugar as 278 mg and pp sugar 480 mg. This is initial reading when I did the testing 20 days back. After that I put up to regress diet control and I was advised by doctor to take janumet 50/500 and vobligose .3 mg with breakfast, and dinner. I also reduced my rice intake by 1/5th and 4/5 added vegetables with my food every time. Every 2 hrs I had cucumbers or 4 slices of apple or pears. Drank plenty of water and butter milk throughout. Today again I did blood test fs 102 mg and pp 80 mg. As per doctor instructions I taken voglibose 0.3 mg and janumet 50/500 after breakfast and exactly after 2 hrs taken pp and reading is 80 mg. I am also doing a brisk walk of 8 to 10 kms per day. I walk at least 1 km after lunch and dinner. Early morning walk 8 kms. After today's results give me confidence that I can reverse my diabetes condition.

My sugar fasting is 121 and sugar pp is 173 even after taking glycomet sr 500 for last six months. Can I take combination drug ppg-met. 03 now to reduce my pp countinstead of taking glycomet sr 500 from now on? please advice.

Ur medicine contains voglibose, which is probably responsible for gas. Change diabetic medicine after consultation with your doc, your problem will b solved.

Yes you can make it to metformin 850mg. Or if your diet is bit heavy, voglibose will help you better.

I am 38 years old and suffering from diabetes. I am taking half of gluconorm g-1 forte tablet in morning and gluconorm sr-500 + zevit (one tablet each) in evening from last two year. My hemoglobin a1c is 10.2. So do I need to take full tablet (gluconorm g-1 forte) or change the medicine. Actually my doctor suggested to take full tablet one year back but after taking full tablet my glucose level goes very low. Please suggest.

Your hba1c is more than normal. Apart from gluconorm there are other medication also such as galvus and voglibose which generally maintains good glycemic control. You should get your hba1c one another time and consult your doctor for hypoglycemia after your tablets.

I am type 1 diabetic for 15 years, on novo mixtard 30/70 twice a day until last month. For last two years, my hba1c is disturbed. Recently after making a regular note of the my blood glucose levels throughout the day, for two months now, my doctor switched me to novomix 30/70. Even after that, the blood glucose levels, specially after lunch, arnd 7 pm, were elevated. Please note that I took insulin at breakfast and dinner time. Then I started taking it three times a day, before each meal. Now the blood glucose levels are better after lunch, but very sporadic in the morning over the last one week. I am also having problems in controlling hypoglycemic episodes. I have had many instances, when, fot example, if my fasting blood glucose level came out to be 60, and I took 5-10 gms of glucose, it shot upto 250. I am shocked because the ada advises 15 gms of glucose in an hypoglyic event. I have observed this in general, that whatever I eat (i eat mainly low glcyemic foods), my body's glucose senstivity is so high, that my blood glucose levels shoot up enormously. I am also suffering from hypothroidism for three years now. Recently, my urine microalbuminuria levels came out to be 180 microgram/mg of creatinine (two readings, spaced out over a month). In addition to insulin, I am also taking thyronorm 75 mg soon after I wake up, glycomet 500mg before each meal, voglibose 0.2 mg after breakfst and lunch, nervz-b after brkfst, telmisartan 20 mg after breakfast and storvas 10 mg at night. Please suggest what can I do to have a tighter blood glucise control, advise if I need to make dietary changes, chanes in insulin type or any other medications.

The problem may lie in any of the three
i) the dose and type of insulin is not properly tuned or working and it is not cared by your consultant.
Ii) your diet is not properly planned and some how not matching your need or
