Hello, Thanks for the query.
The details given are unclear. Since there is no mention of actual fasting, PP glucose levels,& HbA1c% there is no way to give any suggestions. Because by saying " sugar level & HbA1c5 are in good control" I do not understand what is considered as normal. thanks.

Mr. Lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
It appears that current treatment (tablet Vobit 2) is not adequate. Because when blood glucose is well controlled, fasting should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. You have not mentioned all the details necessary except saying glucose is around 200 mg. There is a need to upgrade the treatment. Which means one has to give a closer look at diet, exercise plus improving the drug treatment. So please consult your doctor and go for upgrading it. ...more

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
The dosage of various medicines for glucose control can be adjusted on the basis of patients needs, doctor's advise and also based on dietary intake. Usually Glimepiride is either given once a day or twice in some cases. Metformin can be given 3 times a day again depending upon the need. Voglibose is usually recommended with each meal, that is three times a day. As it is mainly for reducing post food glucose rise. Thanks.

Since there are no details given about either the blood glucose levels, HbA1c% or lipid levels, it is impossible to give any opinion. Thanks.

Mr Vijay, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Please tell me what is your question? The drugs prescribed are for treating diabetes.
There is absolutely no information on blood glucose levels(fasting & PP), HbA1c%, weight, height, age, diet pattern, extent of daily exercise, BP readings& lipid profile. So there is no way to comment any thing. Thanks.
