Hello lybrate-user ,if you have any daudht you can do advance investigation like stress test, but if it is also negative, not to be worried, it may be due to anxiety or tension n stress
n if reason is only anxiety, don't take allopathic,
no solution for anxiety in allopathy
so try another pathy.

Dear Chandraprabha,
It is safe to take vitamin C and Calcium supplements, if you have those deficiencies. Sometimes during depression the food intake is not proper. So these deficiencies occur needing treatment.

Paroxetine by itself is an ssri, kindly consult an experienced psychiatrist and it is wise not to meddle with the medications, as there is risk of serotonin syndrome and others. All the best.

It is all due to Anxiety that you are facing this issue of not sleeping properly at night. I would suggest either you talk your anxiety out or write down the same on paper, tearing it of and then throwing it off in a dustbin thus allowing you to vent out your baggage of emotions, feelings and thoughts. If need be take a warm shower making you more relaxed before dinner.

Vilazodone is a new drug recently introduced in india. It has additional mechanisms of action over prozac or fluoxetine. Antidepressant response can be unpredictable such that a person not responding to prozac may respond to vilazodone although vice versa is also possible. Prozac can cause temporary difficulty in erection and increase ejaculation time. Sexual side effects are reportedly less likely with vilazodone although it may be more sedating than prozac. Hope that helps!
