Vertin is usually given 16 mg thrice a day for vertigo. I don't think 4 mg will help in anyway. Also it is usually safe to take vertin for a month also.
I would suggest to consult a doc online regarding your tinnitus and hearing loss for better diagnosis and management. Vertin isn't going to help much here.

How old is your mother? Ecospirin is not given for vertigo. Vertigo is a diagnosis made by ent specialists. Vertin is a vestibular suppressant. Giving vertin for vertigo is like giving paracetamol for fever. None of the above will address the root cause but will keep suppressing the nerves!

First of all considering all the conditions you have mentioned r you sure you had vertigo?. Because vertigo by definition means spinning sensation either you with respect to surrounding or vice versa, dizzyness can also be defined as uneazyness, blackouts etc as in sudden loss of balance or consciousness, also is the vertigo associated with nausea or vomiting. So this requires a proper history. please visit an ent specialist for proper evaluation as differential diagnosis of vertigo can be many.
