if the cough is dry ambroxol won't help much, instead give her medication for dry cough. besides she needs to avoid all cold and sour foods

Viral fever stains immunity after one attacks but existence of very many virus types and subtypes with similar signs and symptoms that it look to be recurrence. Antibiotics have no role in viral treatment. You can give fever drugs and cold drugs for few days. Please look after diet at home to be given in small but four times. Fruits also will help.

Get xray chest, cbc blood sugar fastinf/pp and hba1c done. Have good sugar control which will reduce throat dryness and cough.

See you read medical stuff without proper knowledge of medicine or training. Leon 500 mg is levofloxacin and as far as I know it is having same degree of side effects as most of the antibiotics. So either you trust your doctor and administer the medicine or don't.
