My brother is 27 years old. He is not able to sleep properly since last few days. He is introvert by nature. But from last few days he is appearing over-talkative and saying all aggressive and negative things about people. A doctor who stays nearby wrote tolaz (2.5 mg) saying that it will correct his thought pattern. But 2 days have passed nothing as such is visible to us. He is abusing on phone as well.

It appears that by nature or due to certain disturnances he may be showing depression and mental agitation. Instead of some tranquilisers, he should be taken to an experienced psychiatrist for consultation urgently. If advised he may need comprehensive management requiring even hospitalisation and treatment under direct supervision.

Helo do not have mental problem but by mistake get injected with psychiatric injection tolaz la 300 mg. Face nd body get fatten even on taking little food. please do suggest an injection which remove the action and effects of it from my body completely. tolaz la will not be accidentally injected. It was injected with some purpose. May be that you are not aware of your psychiatric illness. May be you are justifying your behaviour to others nagging. Tolaz la will be in your body maximum for 4 weeks only. If you don't get injected again, it will disappear from your body. But you should take regular tablets prescribed by the psychiatrist by yourselves showing it to your mom or dad daily. That is the way to avoid injections in...more

Mam what is meant by cognitive behaviour therapy can you explain briefly .my husband suffering from schizophrenia .and taking tolaz la 210 mg inj frext cr 100 tablet while using this medicine he tells that he has a confusion about some daily life activities for example he was forgetting what he was did today some times he remember .by taking this injection nd tablet he became lazy nd very sleepy I told to psychiatrist but he told that these medicines not make sleepy .i didn't understand my husband sleeps 12 to 14 hrs.

My wife, 47, is schizophrenic and is on monthly depot inj of tolaz 210 mg. What does it transform into daily dose of oleanz roughly. Her doctor recommends her to switch over to daily oral dose of 5 mg oleanz instead. This seems less dose to me as per direct calculation. Also, I have read that the efficacy ofdepot inj is better over oral dose. Is it advisable to switch to oral medicine? Request advise.

My son is of age 25 years and suffering sudden severe anxiety problem since last one year, it happens suddenly during his regular routine work. During that time he runs fast here & there with full of sweat and harm himself to bite his finger and hand, after sometime about 3-5 minutes he become normal. After that he told that he was in anger with no reason. Ct scan, mri & eeg almost normal. I shown to neuro he said that there are some green spot in report which is some abnormal and suggested olanzapine-400, venlanz-25, valtec cr-300, piramax-800 (piracetam tab.) since one year, but even taking regular medicines, he is not being cured completely. I would like to know whether my treatment is in right direction?

Hi Before 4 years after a vasco-vagal EPS episode (an injection architol reacted and gone wrong, my left side paralysed, it got fixed at that time with Tab Pacitane), Now I sometimes get panic attacks and unable to do concentrate without sleep, still my left side is sometimes shivering, legs and hands become numb, have nervousness, sometimes unable to eat food also due to GERD, Unable to bear a extreme hot weather, my breathing is long, I do not feel like taking shower or brushing my teeth. I was not like this before, I hate myself. I have anxiety, has recommended "Tolaz 10 md" I took for 6 months now. I'm tired all day. Test I have done: Brain MRI scan - which was with extreme difficulty because I was unable to bear the sound of the scan machine in my ears and head, EEG, Blood work tablets I have taken: pacitane - which worked that time, now triggers panic attack if I take it. Tolaz 10 md - puts me to sleep, I'm tired all day, taken for 6 months/ have spent most of my savings, now dependent I'am allergic to amoxicillin and sulphur drugs.

IT was before 4 years that my mother took me to a psychiatrist for a consultation since I was slow and he recommended me for a "architol" injection, the medicine reacted in the night, my heart beat went up and my whole body paralyzed the next morning, it stayed till the next night Then we saw a doctor the next day who gave me "pacitane" and my body became normal. Now after 4 years I sometimes get panic attacks and unable to do concentrate without sleep, have nervousness, Unable to bear a extreme hot weather. Visited a psychiatrist once again and he had done all tests post which he said I have anxiety, has recommended "Tolaz 10 md" which is helping only a little, can any doctors help? I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia and depression for more than 15 years. I have been on different medications and had stopped taking medicines for some years in between. After multiple relapse, I am right now on tolaz 10 mg and rexipra20 mg before sleep and pacitane during the mornings. I have been on this dosage for more than 6 months. I would like to know when these medications will be reduced as my doctor has said that I have to concentrate on recovery instead of asking questions like when the medicines will be stopped. Due to multiple relapses in between in these 15 years, the doctor has said that the medicines might have to be taken for life time. My major problem is the muscle contractions, a pull feeling in the muscles of both my legs, and diarrhoea which are hampering my normal behaviour.
