Veniz XR is an antidepressant and can be taken for long. Just be vigilant about its harmful effects. If you aren't a heart patient, you can safely take it. It has certain side effects on liver too like your liver functions may get deranged and jaundice might occur.
But this effect is uncommon.

We call them nuerosuppresents. What they do is they basically calm you down until another dose is required. They never help you solve the underlying problem.
