Veltam 0.4 Tablet MR Health Feed

Asked for male, 30 years old from Mumbai

I am 30 year old male. I have a kidney stone of 5.9 mm size in ureter. I am advice tablet veltam 0.4 once a day at night with drotin m for 10 days. Is the treatment proper? How will this veltam 0.4 help me pass out the stone? Does this stone mean I may be having some other medical conditions as well?

If you have not passed that 5.9 mm stone, then endoscopic removal is recommended for the same, as the stone will not come out itself by waiting any further.

Please suggest Before performing pass surgery to remove cataract of my eyes, the surgeon is asking to stop temporarily for one-week tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg (taking daily one capsule regularly. My prostate is enlarged but urine is well controlled by taking tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg (taking daily one capsule regularly). Will it be harmful if I stop temporarily for one week? Patients on tamsulosin are at increased surgical risk during cataract surgery. It is best to meet your treating physician (for prostate) with regards stoppage, its duration and restarting its use. your cataract surgeon has advised you rightly.

1, pass urine maximum quantity. Even if it takes little more time
2, no alcohol
3. Tea and coffee less.
4.no unnecessary medicine for other disease. 5.less fluid at bed time
6.Pass urine in sitting position
7. Daily walk for 30 mts
8. Eat more fruits and vegetables

It is best to avoid alcohol when taking vilazodone as apart from causing drowsiness, it must be noted that alcohol is a depressant by nature. This means alcohol negates the effects of the SSRI and would not help the process of treatment. For this reason doctors advise not to consume alcohol when taking SSRI.
Think about why you would want to take alcohol occasionally. Is it for social reasons or because of habitual reasons, etc.

With veltam it is possible that you may feel dizzy. Before stopping just consult your urologist or nephrologist and check about stone status.

Since last 13 days I have been suffering from urge of frequent urination. My doctor (she is s a neurologist) suggested me veltam f for 3 week. I took the medicine for 4 days and still continue. Except the disturbance and irritation I never feel any kind of pain or other issue. Addition to veltam f, I have been taking cilacar 5 bd and nexito plus ecosprin av since last 5 years. The problem is now that frequent urination has not changed yet. I feel dryness and light head might be the side effects of veltam f. Can you please advise me how long normally doest to get the effect of veltam?

Veltam should start working max by two days you need to do urine test usg abdomen pelvis with post void uroflowmetry renal function test s psa urine culture
before starting medication.
