Dear, That is natural. Some medicines act as suppressing agents and if you don't take those medicines, brain craves for it. You should try to manage your anxiety with psychotherapy techniques and then slowly taper the medicine down under the supervision of your psychiatrist or psychologist. Do not stop the medicine suddenly. Take care.

Generalized anxiety disorder (or GAD) is characterized by excessive, exaggerated anxiety and worry about everyday life events with no obvious reasons for worry. People with symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder tend to always expect disaster and can't stop worrying about health, money, family, work, or school

Veniz SR should not be stopped suddenly. Gradual tapering and stopping this drug would prevent withdrawal symptoms.

Dear lybrate-user,
please give me the details of the treatment you have taken in last 15 years and the result of it. A psychiatrist needs to assess you to diagnose the condition and also the degree of depression. Then she/he will prescribe medicine for you if needed. You can not take on your own and I can not suggest without diagnosing and assessing you.
