i don't understand your question clearly. But i can understand your doctor's struggle to help you with combination of antidepressants. Your recent symptoms are not due to mirtazapine. Either they are due to withdrawal of quetiapine or your own disorder recurring at this time again. However please discuss clearly with your doctor your concerns.

There is documented resistance to antidepressants after prolonged usage. You can consult your psychiatrist and get it changed to a newer one. Good luck, if it doesn't work out, get a second opinion.

Mirtazapine (nassa not ssri) is far better in inducing sleep compared to venlafaxine. Venlafaxine is not superior to mirtazapine in treating adhd, ocd and anxiety. A ssri (e.g. Paroxetine, slight helpful in sleep induction too) would be a good choice if you want to shift from mirtazapine.
