Hi. Valporate sodium should takes 3 to 5 years course. Never stop it before consult the treated doctor. Pl. Checkup the valporic acid in blood and then consult again till then take this continue.
And do eeg test also.

First on the seizure part the drugs may not be adequate. That can be adjusted with drugs. The type of seizure also to be known usually women may not be put on sodium valproate unless it is juvenile myoclonic epilepsy .some of the drugs can be modified.
