Its been 6 months that I have hsv 2 (on penis )infection. I tested hiv 3 times and all time it negative. Until now, I have got 4 outbreaks and I am taking valtoval 1g as the dermatologist said me. I want to know that, 1. Honestly tell me if there is a permanent cure of hsv 2 with homeopathy. I am unmarried and I don't want to give this infection to my future partner. 2. If yes then please tell me the homeopathy doctor in ludhiana for hsv 2 treatment. 3.and how long I have to take medicine for it to fully recover? 4. If homeopathy cure this hsv 2 permanent then can I have sex without condom with my partner and and have babies 5. Any chances of again getting this virus after cure with homeopathy?

On 1st april: Had history of urti. Then fever for 2 days. Then bilateral cervical lymph nodes enlarged and rash--diagnosed as CHICKEN POX. Completed the 5 days VALACYCLOVIR and cefixime course. After 40 days (present day)-no fever, no cough, no malaise But feels like cervical lymph nodes are enlarged. I don't exactly know whether they are not regressed since that urti OR is it TB Lymphadenitis (AS I AM A DOCTOR IN GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL-which can be potential source of tb bacteria!) Should I be concerned. When to go for diagnostic intervention? Please advice carefully. Thanks in advance.

Just take tab disperzyme twice a day empty stomach for 7 days

Sir, one of my friend age 30 got hsv1&2 igg report positive 1.9 and hsv 1&2 igm report negative. Dermatologist said is contracted with hsv virus. And told it's gone remain forever of his life and outbreaks will come n go. So he prescribed valacyclovir tab 500 mg thrice a day for one week .and friend. Is having one blister in lower lips and disappears within 8-9 hours and after 5 -6 days same small blisters comes n go on lower lips .he is too much worried .plz guide sir.

Hi. Mostly herpes don't present as single blister. Its multiple and grouped and it won't go away in hours. It takes atleast a week. So do not worry. Chances of this blister being hsv is unlikely.

I am a 20 year old female, and overall healthy. I recently got what I believe is a herpes outbreak on my lip. I never had a cold sore before so I am unsure when and how I got it. It appeared on june 4th, a bit of a bump arose on june 5th, and the bump on the side of my lip has yellow scabbing I believe and that side of my lip is swollen. I have taken 1 gram of valacyclovir once a day since june 5th and putting zofirax on the bump repeatedly through the day since the 6th. My main concern is if I will contract genital herpes. On june 5th, I engaged in penetrative sex and a little bit of my saliva from the side of my mouth that did not have the cold sore was used on his penis from my hand, but I did not use my mouth on anything else. I am scared that this mistake in my contact of saliva and genitals could give us both genital herpes. I am scared I do not know what to do or much about herpes in general.

My partner has a bottle of sleeping pills and accidentally left them in my home. A friend of mine saw the bottle, looked inside and noticed two oval shaped dark blue pills with F82 written on them. She google the pill description and saw that it was Valacyclovir, which is used to treat Herpes. I confronted my partner and stated that she does not have Herpes and it is to treat something else. When I look online I see that the drug treats Herpes 1 & 2, Chickenpox (do people still get Chicken Pox?), and Shingles. Is there an Off Brand usage that I don't know about? I want to make sure she is not withholding information.

Hi Sir, I am recently affected by herpes 1&2 and having no current episode. Two months before I have noticed a blister on meatus of my penis which is neither healing nor worsening. This is followed by under skin dots on the head of my penis since one month and is still there. I have visited many urologist but was always referred to dermatologist and he thinks it’s herpes and advice vitamins, acvir 400 mg 3 times a day for a month followed by 2 times a day for a month and followed by valtoval 1 gram 2 per week for 3 month and ointment as well. I was told that the blister will heal in 10-15 days but no improvement. I have visited recently another dermatologist and was advised it’s not herpes and will healed by its own. Except herpes all test are normal but am worried if this leases to cancer or etc. As it’s neither healing nor worsening and created anxiety. Any advice?

i have Chickenpox, i'm 22 years old male. Diagnosed as chickenpox in the 4 hrs of rash appearance. I was vaccinated in childhood. No chickenpox in childhood. Started valacyclovir 1gm TDS after 5 hrs of rash appearance. It is third day today. So I have taken: 8 tab.Valacyclovir (asTDS), 5 tab. gabapentin-300 mg (as BD), 5 tab. Aceclofenac-100 mg+paracetamol-325 mg (as BD), 5 tab cefixime200 mg Rashes are just red spots. And are fading than the first day. Will it go as-burst >crust>scab? Or I'll BYPASS THE CRUSTING AND SCABBING STAGE and WILL IT GET ABSORBED without progress? And as I was already vaccinated once WILL I BE STILL INFECTIOUS TO OTHERS UNTIL SCABBING STAGE. And WHAT IF RASHES DOESN'T BURST-IS IT STILL INFECTIOUS? And during macular rash stage can I SPREAD infection VIA AIRBORNE ROUTE?

I have been suffering from genital herpes for last 31.in the year 1991 had transmitted herpes through sexual intercourse, at that time it not know whether herpes or not, just I know that it is std. Consulted hospital compounder and took 3 vials of penidure la 6 lac, thought cured. Got married in the year 1994 after that whenever blisters appears on private parts both of us use to self medication that is took 6 vials of penidure la 6 many times. It was only in the year 2006, after 15 years formally specialist Dr. consulted, herpes test done but not much high took medicine both of us. In the mean time we had 3 children. Hi, History of tb with reactive cervical lymphadenitis @age of 9 yrs-completed full ATT that time. Chicken pox preceded by URTI 2 months ago-cervical lymph nodes just below ear between mastoid and mandible angle groove were enlarged at that time. Completed 5 days valacyclovir 1 gm TDS and cefixime 200 BD. LN were almost same size for a week. Then I stopped palpating. 40 days after this-i felt LN small grape sized bilaterally at same site. Which enlarged to 2 cm diameter at present (60 days after chickenpox). NO SYMPTOMS/NO PAIN/NO FATIGUE/NO FEVER. Usg LN showed no necrosis &size 1.88 cm×0.68 cm As per Lybrate Consultation-its not TB as no symptoms, not cancer bcoz acute presentation: Started these before 5 days=AMOXYCLAV625BD & diclofenac50+pcm 325+serratiopeptidase 10 BD for 3 days. I actually CHEWED tablets. So enteric coating damage may have resulted ineffective treatment. What to do? Maybe I am exposed to TB be I work in government hospital. Is it possible that delayed RE-ENLARGEMENT after chickenpox. Afraid of painful fnac. Will cbc/esr/crp diagnose/rule out tb and find the cause?

Had protected vaginal exposure and unprotected oral exposure on 5th december 2018. After 4 months I started to experience sore throat, numbness in hands and tingling in legs and feet. I also had fever for 7 days from 99 to 100. I got tested for hiv on mobile (after 4 months of exposure) rapid test. It was non reactive. Again on mobile I have tested for hiv1 & 2 (antigen & antibody) test, vdrl test from Dr. Lal path labs. It was non reactive. Again on mobile I had tested for hbsag, hcv antibody, chlamydia trachomatis, tpha, herpes igm and igg, hiv1 & 2 (antigen & antibody). All tests came negative except herpes igm and igg both were positive. I had taken tablet valcivir (1000 mg) 1 tablet twice a day for 6 days. Again on mobile after 5 months of exposure I got tested form hiv1 & 2 (antigen & antibody) from Dr. lal path labs (cmia). Please guide me if I am free from hiv or do I need to go for any other test.

I do not know why you are getting yourself checked so repeatedly, it is not required.
Herpes, though treated well, is not curable and may come again and again.
