In rare cases, rabies can be spread when infected saliva gets into an open wound or the mucous membranes, such as the mouth or eyes. Let's have a detailed discussion for better advice and healthy lifestyle.

I presume you have taken 5 dose course sometimes before 2 nd june. Then 2 booster doses. Subsequently one dose on 8 th june. In this case you have one year period of protection from 3rd june onwards. Only you need to consult an expert or surgeon if it was rabies animal, with deep lacerated wound nearer head. Otherwise you could have ignored it and avoided booster second time within 5 days again.

Anti rabies vaccines as the name implies are made from controlled atmosphere in which the fluid, either human or bovine is inoculated with rabies and and allowed to form anti rabies vaccines. The process, though a complex one takes into account many idiosyncrasies of the humans who are bent on destroying themselves.
