I have excessive gas problem for about 2 yrs, recently it becomes worse my abdomen area was always full and lack of appetite I consult a doctor first he gave me reximin and rabeprazole and prescribed for lft, ultrasonography and h pylori .all the other organ was normal except mild fatty liver the ggt lvl was 234 and sgpt 81 .i am using ursodox300 and evion lc for 35 days now but my gas problem is not improving please hlp.

My father aged 72 years now admitted in hospital for high bilirubin yesterday count 35. He have hcv and liver cirrhosis. Here doctors treat him with iv fluids and heptral400 and ursodox 300. But my hpmeo doctor give me to give him jondila forte syrup for reducing bilirubin. Is it really helpful in jaundice. How much time it takes to normalise as we are here for 5 days and his total serum bilirubin counted as 12th june-9.7,next day-15, then gradually 24,32,27 and yesterday 35. What will I do sir. Give a solution please.

I've a gas problem for about 2 years recently it worsen there was fullness sound abdomen area and lots of farting, I've visited a doctor ,first he prescribe rifaximin15days and and rayzole for 15 days and for lft ,hpylori and ultrasonography. Hp, _ negative, others organ normal ,mild fatty liver with ggt234 and sgpt 81. Prescribed me with ursodox300 and evion lc for two months. Its 34 almost days of using the, my gas problem is not improving please hlp.

Two bile acids are often prescribed to dissolve smaller gallstones:

ursodeoxycholic acid
chenodeoxycholic acid
In an older study from 1989, ursodeoxycholic acid helped prevent gallstone formation in obese people who were following very low-calorie diets.

It may take up to two years for bile acids to treat gallstones. Gallstones may re-form when you stop taking the medication.

I started treatment on 5 Dec 2017 with TB (I have infection in my colon, I used to have stomach pains) 1. Combutol 8002. Pyrazinamide 10003. Ricnex 300/450.4. Sompraz D.Then after 1 month, when I did LFT the ALT level were 129.0, so my doctor switched me to below medication for 1 month 1. Combutol 800 2. levoflox 750 3. Uricure 300 (2 Tablets) 4. Streptomycin 0.75 mg for 31 day (one injection daily) Then after 31 days when we did LFT (We did multiple LFTs in between to keep track to see my ALT levels are lowering) everything was good and we switched back to 1. Combutol 8002. Pyrazinamide 15003. Ricnex 300/450.4. Sompraz D.After taking above medication for 3 weeks, Then I fall sick due to some cold and had fever for 3-4 days and my ALT levels again at 150.0 and then now my doctor has again switched to Streptomycin injections 1. Combutol 8002. levoflox 7503. Uricure 300 (2 Tablets) 4. Streptomycin 0.75 mg for 31 day (one injection daily) So now after almost 3 months, from 27/02/2018 I am on injections and combutol again. Don’t I need Rcinex? Is it ok to switch like this and wait for alt levels to lower again and again start with rcinex and pyrazinamide. I did not have any other problem during this 3 months period, its just my alt levels go up. Please advise, do I need to consult some other doctor?

hi. you can try homeopathic treatment but in my experience I ve never seen gall stones getting dissolved with drugs. surgery is a much better method.

Health Query

Dear sir/mam 8 months before, I started having lose stool. It continued for almost 3 months. It was in on and of condition so I didn't paid much attention to that. But then I realised I should consult a doctor. I went to doctor he prescribed me with Taxim OZ and probiotics. After taking medicines for five days my stool becomes normal but now I got some new problems like bloating and body ache I again visited doctor and he told me for SGPT test. My SGPT count was 40u/dl doctor prescribed me with actibile tablets and probit z for 15 days after taking these medicines my bloating problem and body ache got cured however mushy stool still continued. Doctor then prescribed me with nemorazole for 7 days. After taking med for 4 days my stool becomes normal. But now only thing that bother me is my morning stool is slippery. When I go for 2nd time it is normal. Doc should I worry or it is normal. I am very anxious please help me out.

Your complain is related to urinary tract and you might be suffering from bph. Ultrasound kub is suggested with pvr urine. If pvr urine become significant than need to be catheterisation and if prostate is significantly enlarged than advised to go for surgery (endoscopic procedure is turp). Till than you may take tab. Solifinacin dutasteride 8 mg od in night and antibiotics course according to urine culture and sensitivity report.
