Asked for male, 67 years old from Ghaziabad

I am facing lot of itching on my genitals, anus. Consulted Allopathic doctor. He prescribed anti-fungal powder, Anti-fungal cream and ant-fungal tablet. Taken for more than 2 months. During treatment mild comfort only and full fledged itching later on. Now all anti-fungal local application is ineffective. Advise solution. I also have frequent prostrate. Prostrate size normal (30 gm). Bladder neck constriction reported. Take anti-biotic (ofloxacin 200 BD) after urine test as per doctor's advice. Erupts after few months. Dribbling, irritation, burning during urination. Taking tamsulosin 0.4 since many years. Suggest remedy on my below mail id please. I can not go on your app for answer. My left thigh in non union from last 3 years after 6 operations. Suggest common remedy for all if feasible. .

Pain has started when I was doing yoga -Pain in lower abdomen which moves from bladder area to right side -Discomfort at tip of penis -Urine flow has been decreased (uroflowmeter test shows avg. Flow is 10 ml/sec and Qmax is 22 ml/ sec) -When I stand for more than 20 minutes I feel discomfort and if continue standing, pain will increase and if I sit I feel relaxed -Pain at lower back specially when I awake in morning which has started from last 10 days - When I masturbate I develop pain near bladder from next day which continue for about 10 days - I have undergone sonography of full abdomen and my prostate size is about 18 gram - I met doctor and he prescribed me Bactrim DS and tamsulosin for month. I felt comfortable and then he said you don't have any problem and pain will go with time but I am still getting pain.

I am 54 years old having problem of slow urine discharge frequently since last one year. I consulted one of the urologist and he described the reason as increase in prostate gland. He has prescribed me HARNAL OCAS 400mcg (tamsulosin hydrochloride) tablet which I am taking every night. I am afraid if I stop this medicine I will not be able to discharge urine. My father had also this problem and he under gone operation a few years back. I am diabetic also from last 10 years and now take GALVUS MET tablet 50mg /1000mg daily one tablet morning and night before food and Diamicron 60mg half tablet at lunch time. My weight is 65 kg and height is 5 feet and 4 inches. I would like to have your view and permanent treatment for both these problem without undergoing surgery for prostate. I am 74+. Suffering from allergic rhinitis and occasionally having continuous sneezing. Running nose also starts. I am forced to take atarax 20 mg. But as I take the tablet 3 or 4 days no sneezing or running nose appears. Is it advisable to have such tablet with one interval every 3 or 4 days to remain ok. There is no cough or irritation. The local doctor has prescribed montelukast 10 mg once daily and I am also continuing like that. But occasional continuous sneezing & running nose does not stop until I take one atarax 20 mg at an interval of every 3 or 4 days. I have also htn and taking once daily amlopidine 5 mg with olmesartan medoxomil 40 mg and blood thinner ecosprin 75 daily as per advice of a cardiologist. I am also taking tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg daily as I have enlarged prostate. Will taking atarax 20 mg at an interval of every 3 or 4 days have bad health effect? What is the alternative?

One week back there was pain while urinating and next day stopped urine. After three days (i am given to understand I should not have waited for three days) went to hospital and removed the urine inserting catheter. sonography done, enlarged prostate in size 5.5 x 4.1 x 3.7 cms. 44 cc. 2017 sonography 4.3 x 3.4 x 3.5. They have advised me to go for operation. But the question is, is it necessary? Most of the people after the age of 60 have enlarged prostrate. Was it not possible that I had some temporary inflammation or stiffness in urinary organs and urine stopped? Is enlarged prostate of the size mentioned require operation? As it stands they have prescribed urimax d (tamsulosin hydrochloride & dutasteride )tablets. They warned me not to remove catheter unless I am operated. I am walking around with catheter. Your valuable advice please.

you can try removing cather after a week of therapy. if you pass urine normally after catheter removal then continue medicine, if you have difficulty while passing urine then you need surgery.

What I could see from your medications you are taking mexflow which is same as urimax. Kindly check the salt name as tamsulosin in whatever medicine you are taking. Tamsulosin 0.4 mg should be availaible in pakistan. Any pharmacist can help you.

Hi sir, I experienced severe pain in the right side lower abdominal pain in 29th oct. The pain started with burning sensation in penis and rose up to navel and then traveling in right abdominal area. Then I again experienced the same in 9th nov and 17 nov. And finally did a ultrasonography which said i've a 4.8 mm stone in the distal part of right ureter. The pain was severe and I had to take spasmodart. Also my friend who had a similar case, was prescribed tamfil s (deflazacort 30 mg) and hence at night I took 1 tamfil s. Next morning I went to consult an urologist. He prescribed me 1) geristart (tamsulosin 0.4 mg) and 2) cortimax (deflazacort 6 mg) for two weeks. There was no pain right after I started taking these tablets. Also I didn't took any painkiller since there was no pain. I started drinking 3-4l water daily. It's been almost eight days. And since yesterday evening i've been experiencing mild pain in the left area just under my rib. It's not severe but mild and irritating. The pain isn't like before. I wondering what kind pain it could be. 1) since I took tamfil-s which has deflazacort 30 mg before taking cortimax which has deflazacort 6 mg only, will it affect me? Or has it affected me? 2) is the left sides under rib mild pain could be due that right sided stone?
