I have kidney stone. Doc prescribe me some medicine. Tamsulosin is thr drug I have it side effect. And the side effect is dry orgasm. I am worried about it. Is it permanent or can it be cured should I take some medicine for it or it will be cure by itself. please help.

You have to get urine and expressed prostatic secretion culture

Hello lybrate-user, thanks for your query, enlargement in prostate is natural in every male after the age of 40, in some it does not cause any problem, but unfortunately in your case it has, the medicine you are taking is good. Please do get a usg kub done to assess the exact size of the prostate, a serum psa level, and get yourself examined by a surgeon or a urologist. You may require surgery as well.

Tamsulocin cause retrograde ejaculation, semen instead of coming out goes back into the bladder. Once you stop this medicine, everything will be fine. U can replace urimax with Alfoo which has less effect on ejaculation.

What is the size of prostate? And do you have any problem in passing urine like decreased flow. Staining hard to pass urine .if not -- then no treatment is required
any drugs like veltam- f will decrease the libido and ejaculate volume.
Prostate treatment is not related to the size but the symptoms it causes.
Its always better to consult a qualified urologist.
