Adverse effects include increased risk of breast and prostate cancer, male infertility, depression, decreased libido, decreased ejaculate volume, impotence, gynecomastia, and orthostatic hypotension. Finasteride is associated with an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer. Finasteride reduces male hormone activity. Both drugs are known to cause erectile dysfunction in some men.

better to switch over to bangsheel tabs, 2 tabs three times a day after meals. Take bhruhtayadi kshayam, 3 tsf twice a day before meals in half a glass of luke warm water. Minimize the intake of curd, sugar, salt, bakery products, in your diet. Make sure your do brisk walking for 45 min daily. Take small meals at regular intervals. continue the regime for 2 months. Stop the medication for 1 month, and start again thereafter. Good luck

Dose of drug is according to half life of it. Urimax d should be taken once a day preferable at bed time. If still problem persist then surgery (TURP) might be required.
