Artificial sweeteners are a group of chemicls each having a different problem. nut the bottom line is this that they are chemicals.
Now a days natural sugar by itself is being considered as poison.
Any thing in excess is not good.

if you are a diabetic you should count your calories. More cups of tea means notonly more sugar but more calories.

When we consume anything, bacteria present in our mouth start digesting food and produce acids. Lactic acid act on tooth and start demineralizing it meanwhile buffers present in saliva start neutralizing those acids. This whole process takes 30-45 mins. More frequently we eat more acid production, tooth stays in non-acidic conditions for less ...more

Single report of sugar level is not conclusive. You can go for Fasting and PPBS and HbA1c and after getting the reports you might have to start lifestyle modifications in terms of excercises and if needed medications

Mr. Lybrate-user, lemon water is fine, can be taken by a person with diabetes. Adding sugar free powder is also fine. But what is worrying is her blood glucose level of 300 mg, which is definitely very high. When diabetes is in control fbs should be closer to 100 mg, ppbs- 170 to 180 mg & hba1c% <7. So please see that her glucose levels are brought to necessary ones. Thanks.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Sugar-free foods may play a role in your diabetes diet, but remember that it's equally important to consider carbohydrates as well. A sugar-free label means that one serving has less than 0.5 grams of sugar.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
