Hello lybrate-user! I pill is an emergency contraceptive pill which has to b taken with 12hrs of intercourse, for restricting unwanted/unplanned pregnancy. If taken sporadically it should not affect her adversely. But kindly advice your friend to avoid taking it regularly as it can affect her menstrual cycle as well as its flow. As the medicine affects the natural secretion of the body hormones and stops the pregnancy. I hope you have understood the pros and cons of I pill.
