Though sertraline, the drug you r taking, has a risk of sexual dysfunction in some patients, it is not as common as you think and you need not worry about it as if it happens, it is not irreversible. Hi, I can understand that there is a dilemma between getting adequate response from medication and getting relief from sexual adverse effects. I believe you have already discussed this issue with your psychiatrist and buspirone might have been added for this reason. Dear , since you are overweight for your height. I suggest you try different antidepressant instead. Paroxetine is linked to weight gain and dry mouth.
I suggest you ask your psychiatrist if he can give you other antidepressants that actually help reduce weight such as bupropion, fluoxetine etc.
