Recently I did full body check, only found high results for these parameters, I recently diagnosed with dengue and typhoid (1.5 month ago) ast-108 alt-248 ggt-128 albumin-4.95 bilirubin total-1.92 bilirubin direct-0.6 bilirubin indirect-1.32 uric acid-7.4 combining all these symptoms physician has prescribed two medicine yees 20 and ursokem 300 for 2 months my white part of eye is yellow and urine is clear rest no symptoms of jaundice.

Hope you have been checked for chronic liver infections eg hepatitis b and c. Get an ultrasound done too.

Udiliv is the right medicine for your problem. Higher bile acid level is a common cause of itching in pregnancy. Do not worry about this but for symptomatic relief you can use Zincal lotion or Calamine lotion locally.

stop milk products. Take khichdi and rice with moong daal for 10 days. Take sankha vati, 2 tabs with abhyarishta, 3 tsf in half a glass of luke warm water. Take small meals. continue the regime for 45 days. good luck

I am 32 weeks pregnant and I have cholestasis of pregnancy. I am taking udiliv 300 thrice a day from past 15 days due to high bile acid found in first lft and bile acid test report. But in 2nd test the numbers have decreased. But the problem is itching is still there. Can you pls advise why it's happening and why the itching is not going.

The itching is effect of irritation of nerves in the skin, due to the bile acids. That will take some time to resolve. Apply calamine lotion. Cold compress might help. If too unbearable, you can take tablets, but do check with you obstetrician.

The management will depend upon the size of the fibroid. If the current treatment which is progesterone you are taking for endometriosis is causing raised liver enzymes then you should stop it. Liver enzymes will revert back to normal.

My wife is 35 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing itching across the body and soles of legs and palms as well for 10 days now. Doc has prescribed udiliv 150 mg per day. She has not asked for any tests but I am getting a bile acids test done. Report will take 4 days from thyrocare. Please suggest is the medication and dosage is sufficient. No other complications as such till now, tsh slightly increased and thyronorm is prescribed for that. Rest iron calcium tabs only.

Itching without rash could be due to rise in bile acid but late onset itching with rash in could be solely a skin condition (specific in pregnancy) Itching in palm and sole may be seen in drug allergy too. Besides liver and renal function test please review the above factor too. Thyroid abnormalities add up to skin dryness so moisturising twice daily would be helpful too.
