Hi - while medicines help, please request your psychiatrist to put you into counseling sessions so you can get more help in terms of managing the triggers (situations or people that create anxiety) etc. Remember medicines are just chemicals and have waning effect but once you make up your psyche to face the situations or people - you can with the help of meds gain strength and reduce/stop meds too. it is always recommended that you take psychological counselling from a trained psychologist while taking psychiatric medicines. As you said situation improved for 50%, other 50% could get improved if bring some lifestyle changes - physical exercise, following good diet, having good night sleep. Received after 3 weeks. When these reports are normal, it generally suggests no organic involvement or a local lesion. The present complaints are probabably related to original psychological or functional disorder or at times due to multiple poly medication. She should be under treatment, supervision and follow up of a good psychiatrist or institute like nimhans for long duration.
