Hi lybrate-user, minoxidil will give you results if you use it on a regular base. But when you stop using it hair fall will start again. So you need to use it on a regular basis. Use homoeopathic medical oil and shampoo arnica. Eat a high protein diet.

depending on the history, you were suffering from hairfall due to androgenetic alopecia. As per the literature, male pattern baldness (or androgenetic alopecia) treatment is finasteride and minoxidil. But since you were suffering from its side effects ,better you stop them. Hello.

Minoxidil 5% is recommended doses for men in case of hairloss.
You can use it twice day daily - at night and in the morning. Spray/ apply 1ml of it over the affected area only, then spread it by dabbing.
You can use it regularly for 1&1/2 to 2 years. Then gradually and slowly reduce the frequency of no. of uses and taper off completely (don't stop it abruptly as your scalp has already got used to the product and may create some problem).

Only plain biotin won't work. You may need other iron tab, B12 and Vit D3 supplements too along with topical application.
