Minoxidil or tugain solution 2% will work for existing hair growth in female, and Minoxidil is the only drug which is FDA-approved to treat female pattern baldness. It works by prolonging the growth phase of the hair follicles, Yang says. It's recommended that women use minoxidil 2%, while men can use the 5% formula. Hi,
minoxidil will work only if there are follicles/ roots present. And for males 5% solution is recommended. Mintop, tugain are few brands available in market in all percentage.
Transplant is the best and sure line of treatment if you want proper growth
regards.

In that case, stop using this medication and tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including unwanted facial/body hair, dizziness, fast/irregular heartbeat, fainting, chest pain, swelling of hands/feet, unusual weigh...more

U can use oil for hair and not on scalp if your hair is getting dry.
If you want to apply oil on scalp apply 2 hours after application of minoxidil.
Also try the foam instead of lotion of minoxidil. It could help combat dryness and irritation on scalp.
