They are good medications, but need to be cautiously used in combination considering the drug interactions. I am sure your your treating psychiatrist would have considered the same, while prescribing. So you need to attend review as told by him/ her and express if there is any disco for with them. Good luck Mr. Jayanth.

Licab is good but lorasure and trinicalm plus can themselves be the reason for bringing you down. There are medications like lamotrigine and others, which needs to be prescribed after psychiatrist consultation along with others, which can really make your mood up. Get a second opinion from any psychiatrist. Good luck.

The problem you have described might be related to ocd or psychosis but is difficult to understand with this limited information. It is advised that you consult a psychiatrist again. Sometimes response with psychiatric medicines may take time. Please continue to take medicines for a considerable time.

Dear Lybrate user, At your age, Memory problems like amnesia are not common. Many young people are having problems with memory. These problems are either they are too busy or due to anxiety and stress. Busy people use organizers or employ a personal assistant because they can't remember every task. You need to understand this. If you still say, you are having memory problems, we need to check your memory using memory test. If you want more of my help in this regard, please contact me. Take care.

I think. As you r on medication since 2011 for ocd wid relieving symptoms. Symptoms you mentioned might be part of restless leg syndrome. Which can be because of medications ,anxiety. And other causes. Usually benzodiazepine like clonazepam is used which you r already taking. Yes in addition to this you can try trihexyphendyl or levodopa carbamamazapine. For your symptoms. U can also avoid caffeine. Maintain sleep hygiene. Leg massage can also help.

Good morning,
We now have medications that do not have the same side effects of the medication for schizophrenia that you mention. I believe you brother needs to switch either gradually from the medication that he is currently on to a more benign although potent medication. An expert psychiatrist is who you need to consult. I believe this can be done online since a change in medications can be monitored for tolerability and effects as usual since you already have experience with the medicat...more

Dear lybrate-user,
If your psychiatrist says, it is due to anxiety. Please believe it and deal with your anxiety in non medical methods. If he says that these medicines don't have side effect, like difficulty in passing urine. There may be other reasons for your difficulty which gets precipitated by any medicine. I don't know your age. But I know you are a man. It may be due to prostate enlargement. Why don't you consult an urologist or get one ultrasound abdomen and pelvis with measurement ...more
