I want to give my grandmother vitamin d supplement 6000iu once in week for 3 month She has parkinson and sugar and pain in whole body se continue taking syndopa and parkin also every time she wake up complaining about stiffness in neck and back once she took this and tell that she had some relief from stiffness I want to consult can I take her this for 2 month.

Severe mental fatigue can be due to stress and anxiety. Do daily pranayam and meditation for 15 min daily morning. Eat fruits daily like apple and pomegranate. Have few almonds daily. You may also take homoeopathic treatment for the same.

Sir, my brother is on medicines. Medicines are risperdal ,paradise and bexol. These medicines controlled his aggression(anger) but he lacks confidence and maturity. He is 22 years old but does not have any sense of maturity and gets attached to things ,gets very much attached to one thing only and he never feels satisfied. Should we do any MRI brain or take him to a neurologist? We have already taken him to a psychiatrist but we want counselings sessions for him.

Neurologist is not at all related to your brother's condition. Taking MRI brain once is not wrong, though it rarely shows some findings. You can consult your psychiatrist and ask for counselling from a clinical psychologist. All the best.

Hi, my brother has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. The psychiatrists has been adjusting his medication dosages since the beginning. We are currently using clozapine 75 mg and haloperidol 5 mg along with that now doctor has asked us to use bexol 2 mg as well. Also along the years he has gained weight, lost interest in his academics, has been prescribed to cholesterol and bp tablets. With all these medications he still is dizzy, aggressive,doubting everybody, irritated most of the time. Will his condition improve ever? Its been more than 2-3 years now with this medication.

Yesterday we consulted the psychiatrist at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. and she has already some gaining problem since 13 years (starting from her mensuration cycle. Now she is 24 years old, weight-67 kg. I am a 60+ yrs. Man and is diabetic since 2001. Till date I have not taken any insulin based medicine or injection, etc. Presently I am taking glery2 twice daily, parkin twice daily, az plus once, & tazolek am 80 once. But I am finding it difficult to maintain normal sugar level though I take normal diet and of very limited qty. I am not finding that desired sugar level and other parameter even if I tried. I seat at least 4-5 hrs. Daily with computer and field job if arises. Please advise me how to control sugar and other body parameter as I am becoming depressed every day. In my profession it is not becoming possible to go on morning walk. Please suggest me.

Hi, It's about my sister, she is suffering from some mental disease, this is from past 10 years or so The same disease my father had and he used to rely on tab. Parkin plus Currently her behaviors are She hates her mother sister and without reason she will be crying shouting on others, just sit on bed and keep thinking something She don't want to do anything not even sleep properly, just lying on bed Her husband don't have proper job past 6 years And she always doubts on my other sister, mother like being protective of her husband She is very much in some trauma, she has forgotten what she has studied and she is a graduate but all knowledge she has lost We tried few doctors but no use there are no results because she always scolds the person who wants to give the tablets Or even she don't want to visit a doctor Not sure how to handle this and make her normal like before. Please help me out.

I'm an 18 year old male so recently I have been diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder so I was admitted in hospital for 15 days one month ago I have been prescribed with lithium 1200 mg lurasidone 40 mg risperidone 4 mg clonazepam 0.75 mg and parkin tablets. During discharge they had increased lurasidone upto 80 mg and my lithium level is 0.8 even now after 1 month I have attention and low mood problems my mood is not active.

Lithium level is normal only, so lithium can be continued if other blood parameters are fine. On your mood symptoms discuss the lack of improvement with your treating psychiatrist, and try alternate medications if needed. Being open about no improvement will lead to the doctor taking note and doing away with medications that do not work. All the best.
