doctor, recently but not so recently I taken 10 tablets of 500 mg mefenamic acid all at once meaning I ingested 5000grams should I worry? Please I am not alcoholic or never tried alcohol in my life and my liver is healthy I am 18 years old, male thank you.

If there are any problems, it would have occured when you swallowed it. At a later stage the toxic ingestion will not cause any effect.

I hope you consulted a gynecologist. If not pl consult. Tranexa mf can be taken for heavy bleeding. But gynase tab should only be taken in consultation with gynec as it is a harmonal tab. If your gynec has prescribed then both can be taken together.

I am having pcod .before marriage my period used to come in 2- 3 months remain prolonged I used to take tranexamic acid sometimes to stop that .but after marriage it comes in a week .or so many times I have observed that it comes after intimacy .what could be the reason. Please help.

If you're having post coital bleeding, kindly do an internal examination with the specialist once, also paps smear test.

Hello doctors. I am having pcod .my period comes in 20 - 25 days and it does not come like it should I mean I bleed very less for 4-7 days I mean any time in afternoon or in night and then it doesn't stop on its own .i take tranexamic acid to stop it .what should I do.

I had a medical abortion and was bleeding for over a month. Then my doctor prescribed primolut-n and tranexamic acid for 10 days. After finishing the the prescribed dosage my period started yesterday. But the bleeding is heavy. Is it normal? What can I do.

Do your urine pregnancy test to see if abortion was complete or not. If pregnancy test is positive then get your ultrasound lower abdomen done. Wiil have to be managed according to the urine pregnancy test report and ultrasound report.

Hi, I have adenomyosis. I was on fibroease 25 mg and sevista 60 mg once weekly for 1. 5 years. Last march in 2nd week I have stopped the medicines. Now in last week of may, I had rectal bleeding, so my local doctor advised me to take pause mf for 3 days and I was just about to start my 1st day of period after 1 year, but because of pause mf I could not. I took pause mf because of rectal bleeding. Now my question is after how many days will I have my periods as I have stopped all the medication?

The rectal bleeding is a different problem altogether. The cause could be piles or fissure. Some lifestyle changes would also be required. As for periods, it will come on time but a repeat usg is important to assess the present status.

Health Query

My 5 year. Old son is having fever and vomiting. I have already given p250 (paracetamol oral suspension) 5ml. Twice. Temperature reduces for some time and comes back. He is not eating anything. Kindly suggest what to do. I have also mefenamic acid suspension (mefetal -p). Shall I give this. Temperature varies from 101 f - 102.6f.
