Tramadol comes in opioid group of drugs. It can be addictive. And if you stop abruptly it may cause withdrawal symptoms like tremors, sweating, bodyache, muscle cramps, vomiting, diarrhoea etc. My advice is you try to reduce the no. Of tablets from 5 to 4 per day. Continue for 5 days. Then reduce to 3 per day for another 5 days. Then 2 per day, then one.in the meantime if you are getting any bodyache then it's better to take painkillers like paracetamol or brufen whenever you feel pain. Drink lo...more

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful
use no pillow under the head.
Do hot fomantation.
Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days.
Caldikind plus 1tab od x10.
Do neck, back knee & general exercises.
It may have to be further investigated.
Make sure he not allergic to any of the medicines he is going to take.
